Interesting issue.

So... I just found out that my wireless pack was giving out +18dB in my 4CM setup. Once discovered, it had greatly affected the tone as I'm sure you're all aware that it would. That being said, I was wondering what was be the best possible substitution for that, that I could either add to my signal chain, or adjust via a setting on the FM3.

Wow that's a lot of extra gain. Myself I would probably start over. But in the mean time you might could boost the front of your presets with a null eq.

Increase the input pad in your I/O Settings until you're just tickling red on your hardest playing.

If this is already the case when you look at the input LEDs, then you're already fine.

Moreover, gain-staging is incredibly important in 4CM set-ups. I'd recommend going through every in and out of your set up and making sure the level is appropriate for the next connection. You might be surprised just how much you can improve things!
