How do these work? What kind of power amp is it.

Seems like a possible competitor for the matrix cab module.


Edit: I was looking at this for a bass solution, see wattages are at 4 ohms which suited my application. Only allows for a 2x 12 guitar cab wired for 4 ohms really.

Those types of amps are usually used to power subwoofers or p.a. speakers. I have one similar that runs my bass shakers in my home theater.

Tonewise - if you spend 275$ - I would go for a Matrix GM50 module!

Ice Power ASX2 modules were made by Bang & Olufsen, these are well known Class D modules, which fit into a lot of various applications....

For DIY'ers I would rather see something that has split power delivery for highs and lows. It just makes more sense to have more headroom available for the lows.
