Interested in EVM12L's - what are my options?

Couldn't pass on a good deal for two delta pro 12A so I got this setup instead of EVM12L in my open-back cab. Wish I have 1X12 cabs coz these are heavy. I'm liking the deltas so far. One of these days I'll get me some EVMs but for now I'm happy with eminence. Frankly I'm not missing going direct to FRFR anymore

^ Nice! I think the next cab I try will be an open-back 2x12 with Delta Pro's. I ended up getting a Thiele with an EVM12L off of eBay. It was made by a guy who goes by Boogafunk (although sold used through another party). It looks pretty stupid, but it is rugged as anything and so far sounds amazing!

I also use the Delta Pro A's in my 2x12 Genz Benz G-Flex cab. They are awesome...I don't use cab sims but those speakers will handle whatever you throw at them and are very flat response. Price is great too. EV are just too damn expensive without a huge improvement in tone over the Eminence. I've tried both......

I am going to build another pair.
I found out that Mesa uses 5/8 Marine
Grade plywood. I looked in my Mesa 4x12
cabs and verified it is 5/8 +/ - plywood...It may
be metric...maybe 15-16 mm, correct me if this
is wrong. I work with american standard, not
familiar with the metric stuff.

I will put the EVM's in the cabs and get back
to everyone to see if it is worth the time and money.
