In what configuration are you going to use your VP4?

I have the FM9 but wanted a more versatile and independent rig, so I am currently using the VP4 in 4CM with Line6 HXStomp XL.
The signal is: Guitar ->2 drive pedals (Guthrie Trapp and Royal Flush) -> VP4 <--> StompXL -> Atlantic Nux (Reverb & Delay) - Ditto -> Amp or FOH
I use the HXStomp only for: Compressor-Boost-Amp-IR- (Vp4 loop) - 2PEQ
Any comments or advise?

I'm using the FX Loop block and both knobs are set to 0.0dB.
And what about vp4 settings. I am at 6 db input pad and presets at 0.

I had to change the send to -8 and the return to +6 on the QC to avoid any red output and input on the QC. I appreciate your settings so I can compare. I am trying to get the best signal and as close to unity as possible.

I'm running my VP4 in the FX loop of a Tskalis Mothership into the front end of a WEM Dominator MK3. Couple of drives in front of the Mothership, sounds feckin glorious. :)

Input pad on VP4 is 12dB. I haven't noticed any clipping. Yet. :)

Thank you!
I realized one thing I failed to mention is that I have the VP4 as post effects and they're all in parallel and 100% wet. Because the QC's FX Loop block has Thru set to max (0.0) I end up with a dry signal in parallel to all the wet effects. Sorry, I should have mentioned that before.

So are you putting the FX loop on its own split to make it parallel and 100%?

I am using it with my FM3.
Guitar - VP4 - FM3 - FRFR.
Using the VP4 for Capo, Drive, Wah and the last is not yet decided. Might be another drive.
Absolutely love it.

No, that block's Thru level basically makes it a parallel loop unless you turn it all the way down. I have it set to max so the dry path just passes straight through.

Of course that path also goes out to the VP4 and back, effectively placing the VP4 in parallel to the Thru path.

Oh ok you are using a separate send. Are you returning later or are you just running the send to the amp/pa?

Never mind I missed the second paragraph! Lol
What I wrote seemed off so I looked back at the preset. I forgot that I set the lower lane on the QC to "Ret 1/2". That's why I have the parallel path. The "dry" signal goes through the Send 1/2 (FX loop) bock and out to the Multi Out. The Send 1/2 block sends the signal to the VP4 which returns the wet signal back to QC's lane 2 which also runs to the Multi Out. Hope that makes sense. Here are a few pics.

Thanks again for all your help that really clarifies things. I really appreciate your help!
