Importing CABs - probably dumb question, apologies

Sorry, I've been out of loop for a while and just updated my Axe-FX II to the latest and greatest. I was trying to import old IR files into User Cab's using Axe-edit (Axe-Manage:Cabs) and I get an error that the file type is not supported (.syx). I tried with several others that I know worked in the past. Am I missing something?

Anyone? These are old cab files that I used to use but now won't import. Is there some type of conversion that needs to happen that I missed in one of the upgrades?

Thanks for your help. Here is a cab that I've used in the past but can't seem to import now.

that seems to be a gen 1 cab file, it will not work as is in to an axe fx II. it would have to be some how converted to work. if you have the wav. version of that file cab lab will convert the wav. to gen II syx. If not if you can find AOMDSP it will convert it I believe.

Figured it out, I needed to download axe-o-matic which will convert gen 1 to .wav then load into Cab Lab 3 and save into new User Cab slot.

My understanding is that the developer who created axe-o-matic passed away about four years ago. I was looking for a way to donate some cash to his family or fund but can't find anything. If anyone knows of a way, let me know.

Well, anyway, thanks Lynn, this really helped me out.
