Imported GGD IRs sound wrong

So I have had the Zillas exported for a long time, and recently exported all the mics and it works fine in my axe fx. I usually export them on a mono track and use the longest IR tail on them. I pretty much use a LOT of the GGD IRs on my axe. Can you upload a recording of it sounding good and the bad? Also Try going back to the older version like some in the thread said ( Sorry typing on new page and cant see response). I did all my exporting with the older version numbers and it worked out fine. Also export them with the plugin opened INSIDE the DAW. Dont use the standalone.

Man - I hope GGD come back and explain what's going on.... Is there a way to immediately tell if the export worked correctly?
Good exports have a larger file size. The bug seems to be the exported IR is truncated and much shorter than it should be.

And, yes, these types of bugs erode confidence pretty quickly.

If the sound is completed munted, it might be truncating the start of the IR. This will have a much greater impact on the sound than truncation at the end.

When you re-import are you using both right and left IRs or importing as left only?

How do you test if they exported correctly?
I usually only ever have Axe Edit set to import L, if not I only import L as I'm never exporting a stereo mix for my needs.

I've never tested the exports worked correctly with a third party IR loader.

Can I ask how big the wav files are that you're exporting? I realized I have some IRs from GGD Zilla that are 10 or 20 kb, then others that 141 or 282 kb. But now everything is coming out 20 kb no matter what I do. And like you said, they don't sound as good as through the app.

I recently exported some from Cali at 1000ms and 500ms then imported. Both worked as expected, I haven't had a bad export/import for a few months now. I couldn't hear any difference between both after export and checked in align section in the Axe FX and both waveforms were identical.
