I'm waiting on my axefx. with what should I try it?

I have a two Kling & Freitag ca 1001 speakers, has anyone tried these?

They are part of the PA of a bar where I work and sound good.

I hope they sound good with the axe

They look like a real nice enclosure definitely not your typical Main/Monitor. What are you going to power it with? I didn't see anything about the crossover freq. or where it was located. I'm sure they will sound pretty decent.

Give them a try as I said befor they look to be a desent encloser so you should have some good results with them. I would seruch the fourm for advace on E/Q tips when running FRFR. The bigest tip is to run an E/Q block right after the Cab block for the best results.

You could audition them with some of the better direct recorded audio samples from recordings section on this site. The whole point of the FRFR thing is that the cab should faithfully reproduce what you feed in. Obviosly most samples here are MP3, so there will some loss in quality but it should give you a good idea. Just check the samples don't have any post processing, are not from miced cabs and you like the tones in the first place.
