II XL FAS LINK + Phantom Power

So the manual says not to use phantom power while have mfc link set to fas link or ether con. Will this actually cause damage?

If by phantom power you mean the little external power supply that plugs into the back of your Axe Fx. Then from what I have read the answer is yes. FAS says plugging 2 sources of power in at the same time could damage the system.

Yes but technically I would not be plugging in two things at one. I use fas link with my mfc and phantom power via midi for my LFJR
