II vs III headphone jack on the front

I have found that if I setup a patch using the headphone jack on the front of my Axe-FX II, it sounds much different from the sound out of output 1 or 2 on the back.

I was wondering if the Axe-FX III acted similarly. It would be nice to not have to setup the whole rig and just use the unit with some headphones sometimes.

hell, my wired guitar headphones sound different than my bluetooth podcast headphones sound different than the cheap pods that came with my phone sound different than the lightning headphones i bought in the airport saturday because i forgot my new phone has no headphone jack.

same for different speakers.

i find that i get the most consistent sound across output devices if i dial up patches at live volumes with my speaker cabs, then at 2am it sounds reasonable through headphones. in part, this is due to blending after market IRs toget pretty close to what i want my cabs to sound like.
