IA Switch to Turn Metronome on/off?

I really like the idea of the built in metronome. Is there a way to assign and IA switch to the metronome to turn it on/off?
I meant to dig into this but winter seems to eager to arrive and I've been too busy to do the research. Excuse me for my apparent laziness.

Assuming it's the same as the Axe Fx III, then no... The metronome isn't a block and there's only a "level" control. The metronome itself always runs.
 
I just discovered this as well. I think it would be nice for a mute toggle independent from the level, especially when practicing. It would be great to be able to quickly toggle it on/off after setting a desired level.
