I was wrong when I thought the Axe III sounded *marginally* brighter than the FM3

I own, use and love both. Both on the same firmware (27b2 on the III and 9 on the FM3), with the same preset, everything the same, I notice the Axe III sounds marginally clearer and slightly brighter when A/B'd. Without A/Bing I doubt I could ever accurately tell which is which, but back to back they are slightly different. This is using a DI track and re-amping via USB.

Not an issue, just curious why that might be!

EDIT: Tried the reverb at "Ultra High" in the FM3 and that seems to have made it pretty much indistinguishable. I guess that was the difference.

Ha! I mean, I could post a clip. It was simply an observation but I think it was the reverb conning me.

That's it. I also note a slight difference when I have to reduce the reverb quality to save CPU at the FM3.

It's interesting how much reverb shapes how we hear the tone! I noticed that before when comparing different devices.
