I want to go back from Firmware v3 to v2

Help. I am a old guy who treasures his FX8 and it served me well all over Europe doing corporate shows for the past 7 months. I updated tp the new firmware v3 and after much trial I can not et sounds out of my FX8. I have watched a video that tries to explane the new firmwre to no avail.
Can I revert back to V2 firmware and have my sounds like I did when I unpacked my FX8 for the first time. Some might say I am a idiot for not understanding and so be it I might be.
I have a huge show in NYC next week and the producer was with me in Europe and loves my sounds which as of now do not exist.
Since I can not find a help phone and everyone tells me to read the manual which I have done I am pretty screwed.
To recap:
If I have to I want to go back to Firmward V2 which I tried to do but Fractal Bot will not see V2.
I need my FX8 to have sounds like it did when I got it.
My efforts to make V3 work for me were dismal and I have no controled sounds
I am under the gun so any advise or help would be a god send.

I reverted back to V2 after trying V3 the first time. Gave it another shot and now am getting along with it just fine. However, I understand the situation so what I did was reinstall V2 and FX8 Edit 1.03. I had downloaded V2 on my computer as well as FX8 Edit 1.03. I believe you will need both of these to revert back to Firmware V2 and be able to use FX8 Edit with it. Fractal Bot shouldn't be an issue since it just asks for the location of the firmware you wish to install.

warren, did you backup your settings using the Receive tab in Fractal-Bot, like i explained in my video you watched?

i understand you want to go back to FW2, and i/we'll help you do that. but if you can please try to describe the "unfamiliar screen" you see in FW3, we might be able to solve things even faster.
