I've never had to recalibrate before, is there any video on how to do it by any chance?

Is your polarity reversed? Saw this happen the other week and flipping the switch on expression pedal corrected.

Edit: essentially when on is off and vice versa, it still works, but only because it's flipping state twice as much, and only partially works.
