Tricky thing is when the path totally shifts. I know a ton of people who left Tampa and went down south or East and now many of those very areas are getting a direct hit, just never know until it’s too late sometimes

Understood.

Even being in Jacksonville or Orlando would be better than being on the Gulf side. The idea is to get away from the landfall coast… pretty much anywhere (even if it isn’t perfect weather) is going to be safer than that.

Thank goodness it didn’t come to the Panhandle. We left and went north not staying for any more hurricanes if I can help it.
My sister rode it out in Fort Myers the fared well got the power back, water on but can’t drink it.

They we’re so lucky.
