How to program pitch changes like humanity’s last breath.

Trying to get this whammy pitch effect using the pitch block of the axe fx. (Link below) I'm using Ableton live, hoping I can output the midi data to change with the song playing.
Just wondering about the routing, rather than buying a separate whammy pedal. If anyone has any insights would appreciate it.
