How to make my guitar sound like a Uke / Ukulele?

I've got to record something this week using Ukulele. I don't have a ukulele, but I do have a bunch of guitars of most types, Strat, LP, Ibanez, Acoustic with preamp.

Does anyone know how I might go about getting something that would sound convincingly Uke- like out of one of those and an Axe 3?
 
Try any or all of these ideas ... playing the high four strings only, capo at the ninth or tenth fret, mute the strings by placing a piece of tissue under them near the bridge, use a thin pick held loosely, find an Axe tone that suits.
