How to get MFC-101 mkIII to display all XL presets?

Hi all -
Pardon my ignorance, but can anybody tell me if the MFC automatically 'reads' it's preset names directly from the XL, or must they be programmed into it separately ?
Also, how can I get it to access & view all presets on the XL (blank or otherwise) above the first four banks ? Thanks!
 
It reads the Preset names from the XL..

Not sure about the second question;, I'll check mine in a little while.
 
The MFC can only access three banks worth of presets. You can map the bank changes to higher banks, but you can't access all the banks from the MFC without changing the mapping value.
