How to convert .wav IR files to .syx

I've got most of the Redwirez and love them. I just got the iFace 1.07 from AcmeBarGig and it can create .wav files from the RW files. It has tons of options such as a left/right cab blend, ambient miking, etc. You visually alter the mic placement and all the other parameters and when you like it you can create a .wav IR.
Question is should I use just the 16 bit RW files? Can we use the 24bit or will the file be too big for the Axe?

Also I have tried the Albert A's IR utility and couldn't get it to work. The RW MixIR only seems to mix the RW .wav files that come with the download.
How can I get this to work?

You have to use the wave files from Redwirez (not the syx)
It has to be the 24bit 48KHZ ones!

Alberts utility needs mono files.
If your export is stereo you will have to split it into 2 mono files.

If you create stereo pairs of syx files you need to pan them all the way Left and Right in the AXE-FX
otherwise they won't sound the same as in iFace.
