How to assign Loopers REC & PLY Function on Footswitch Preset Page

How can I assign the Looper REC & PLY Function on the Footswitch Preset Page?
I am only using REC & PLY Function for my purposes and I don't like to start first the Looper page before accessing recording /starting / stopping Footswitch the looper....
Anybody who can help?

You can use an external switch to trigger MIDI cc28 and cc29 to control the looper record and play functions. See page 69, 74 of AX8 manual for more info.

There's no way to use two of the 8 switches on the unit?

You can use the looper switch but that will take you to another page with all of the looper controls vs instant access to rec and play. Only one extra step though.

That's how I use it now, was hoping you could assign play/rec to footswitches on main page.
