How does everyone learn new songs?

All great responses, and pretty much exactly the same ways that I've been trying.
Definitely noticed the Tab quandry, some much better than others.

I will say that I recently found songsterr this year and holy crap it's made a huge difference. Almost every tab I've found sounds super accurate, and I would say using that combined with slowed down songs is my main way of learning at least metal. For the indie stuff I play I generally find chord diagrams and figure out whichever riffs they're using from there.
