How do you use a control switch in FM9 to turn pages in Forscore in iPad?

Hello, I am not too familiar with MIDI. I would like to know if I'm able to reserve one of the footswitches to turn pages in Forscore app in Ipad.

I purchased Yamaha MD-BT01 and successfully connected to Forscore app.
In FM9, i set one of switches to:
Category: Control Switch
Function: Momentary
Control Switch: CS1

In Setup > FC Controllers/Onboard Switches > CS MIDI, I chose CC, channel number, and CC number.

If I understand correctly, CC # should be sent out every time I press the footswitch in FM9.

If the Forscore app > settings > page turners & shortcuts, you can press "previous page", which will start listening for any MIDI command
But pressing the footswitch in FM9 does not trigger anything.

What am i doing wrong? Is this possible?

Is your app using the same midi channel you have set in the CS Midi?

What CC data value are you sending?

Usually for on/off you'd send a value of 127 for ON and 0 for off. Probably the app is expecting an ON value...
 
The app was not expecting a specific value.
Setting the value for ON solved the issue.
Now I wonder if I can just use 1 switch to control both "next page" and "previous page" instead of 2 separate momentary switches.
Can I send different values for Tap and Hold (both set to momentary)?

Well, if setting it to ON solved it then the app WAS expecting a specific value - the one guy ON ;)

Yes, you should be able to set the Hold as well.
