How do you organize your cables?

I'm looking for a solution to keep my cables tidy and organized.
I was looking for some kind of soft case with dividers to organize the cables but I can't seem to find anything.
I've got guitar cables, Y-cables, stereo cables, XLR-cables, MIDI-cables, Ethercon cables,...
and I want to keep them organised and not having to empty a whole case or bag to find the cable I'm looking for.
So, I was wondering, how do you guys keep your cables organised.

a buddy of mine used some ata style keyboard or guitar cases to store cables.. works out really nice, can see at a glance what is there, without digging, and they dont take up that much room... got them on ebay.

Damn, why didn't I think of that.
I've got two flightcases for guitars lying around that I'm not using anyway.

I use those spacebags storage bags, so I can see through them to see what it what. I put all XLR's in one... 1/4" unbalanced etc.

I don't vacuum the air out like you would for clothes but just use them like huge ziplocs.
