These days I was messing around with mics and cabs so I shot a few IRs of this pretty versatile 1x12 cab loaded with a Fane FHG-150, a couple of them turned out pretty great (for my taste at least) so I thought I'd share them. Here they are!
The two "cap edge" IRs are both shot at the same exact 'sweet spot' but with two different mics (SM57 and Rode M5), you can use them alone or both at the same time panned L/R to get a subtle stereo image that adds some nice tridimensionality.
The other two were shot with two Rode M5s in ORTF configuration a few meters away, this was an experiment to see if I could get some kind of "binaural" IRs to play on headphones and they work decently for that purpose. If you have an axe fx load them as fullres IRs, otherwise ultrares is fine too... but for best results better use an IR loader plugin that doesn't trim the length like Ignite Amps NadIR.
I think they should work fine also as room IRs to be mixed in with the close-mic ones.
Btw, I had also measured the impedance curve of this cab a few years ago
