Did anyone else from WA see the show last night? Ho-ly-shit. Hiromi, Simon Phillips and Anthony Jackson, all three kicked ass super hard, but Hiromi is of course in a class of her own. I think they'll have to throw away the piano now. There was smoke rising from it towards the end of the show. :lol On a more practical note, turns out there's a new album coming out this June. She played a few tracks from it, and it seems like it's even more complex than Move, both musically and technically. Last time she was in Seattle house was half empty, this time it was packed, and walk ins were turned away at the door. I'll have to watch the ticket sales like a hawk for when she comes next time, we reserved 3 months ahead of the show, and still didn't get the best seats in the audience. Still, the seats were pretty good.
