Herman Li Signature…PRS covers every base

And the dealers just want to display them, not sell them?
Not suggesting that the dealers don't wish to sell them. Obviously they do, and clearly someone is buying them otherwise the business model wouldn't work.

My comment was simply that after the run is entirely snatched up by dealers, that's basically a success for PRS whether or not they're all spoken for immediately or sit in dealer stock for years. Those limited Orianthis were announced in 2022 I believe, there are still dealers trying to move them. 🤷‍♂️

I like it better in the Charcoal Purple the output jack and switch humps disappear a bit more. But its def not something I would run out and get, not really my style I prefer just a regular Cu24

I wish PRS would do more guitars with less figured woods. The old plain grain Les Paul’s look great to me. It’s like Paul is allergic to plain maple haha.

Paul prefers all-mahogany bodies, actually. But he learned very early on that the pretty maple sells guitars. From the very beginning of the company people were telling him "y'all get me a pretty top, y'hear?" He'll tell you he builds what sells and stop building what doesn't.

I have to admit I didn’t really notice what the input jack resembled at first. Now that it has been evoked here multiple times I can not, not see it. Uhg.🥴

I guess I’m more pragmatic because the first thing that concerned me was it being an easy area to chip or break.

It's not my cup of tea, but I have to say hats off to Paul Reed Smith for building something that is practically in another universe from their comfort zone. They have never really made a dent in the "Superstrat" market, and I'm not sure this model is going to shift the dial, but you have to hand it to them for trying - Gibson and Fender haven't really produced anything genuinely "new" in decades (no, the Meteora doesn't count, sorry, neither does the Gibson Victory)....

I think it is looking absolutely amazing, if it came in a black - greyish version. They price, however, is just ridiculous.
I could get 2 new Mayones for that...

Reminds me of some of Ed Roman's weird overpriced bling-fests from back in the day, but hey...it's Herman's guitar and he can do what he wants with it.
