Help with Mission EP-1 and whammy

Okay so i have a Mission EP-1 pedal connected via TRS cable to the Axe fx 2. i read the instructions for how to setup the pedal for auto engage, by going to the i/o button, then going to control, then setting up ext ctrl 1 as pedal. I did that, and i have the pedal working. But my question is, when i right click on the knobs in axe edit, how do i set it up so that the pedal control the whammy so that it only goes down 1 fret when i push down on the pedall all the way?

Easiest way to get any number of steps: use advanced whammy mode and set start & stop to whatever you want, 0 and -1 in this case.

Or you could lower the ctrl. modifier max % in 1 octave down mode. 8.3 would be closest to 1 semitone. Max at 8.4 with end lowered to 99.2 would be even closer.
