OS: Windows 10
DAW: Reaper 6.25
Connections: Guitar --> FM3 Input 1 --> FM3 Output 1 L&R --> Steinberg CI1 Interface Inputs 1 & 2 --> Steinberg CI1 Interface Outputs 1 & 2 --> Monitors
FM3 and Steinberg CI1 both connected to computer via USB.
In Reaper's preferences: ASIO Driver = FM3 USB Audio Device
I have been able to record 2 DI tracks simultaneously, but now I don't exactly know what to do to reamp the tracks. When I hit play I just hear the crappy DI signal. Do I need to change the physical connections so that the output of the interface feeds the FM3, or should everything be done through the DAW?
I feel like I need to use the route option at the bottom of the screen by the track faders. I tried messing around a little and got some horrible feedback/distortion when I hit play, so I'm a little afraid to keep messing around without having a better idea of what I should be doing.
I have attached a picture of my DAW's settings and FM3's audio settings.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
