HELP->External Switch for Tap Tempo and Tuner (Hold Feature)

Hello,

I would like to use an External Footswitch (momentary) for Tap Tempo and Tuner (when holding for more than 2 seconds). I have XS1 set to CC14 and tap tempo works great but I can't get the tuner to engage when holding for 2 seconds or more. Any advise would be much appreciated!!

The midi foot controller is the MFC-101...

I'm not really sure why the MFC-101 won't allow you to do it, but my Liquidfoot Jr. won't allow it either. It would be handy to use a Boss FS-5U as a tap and to engage the tuner.

You know I can't help but think that it's all midi instruction based, so there must be a way through midi instruction to get that external pedal to behave a certain way... I will keep digging and keep u posted on my results! :) Thanks again...
