Heavy Tone test (FW 1.03, Cab Pack 19)

Recorded something bit heavier today, trying out a new bass tone I came up with. Still absolutely in love with Cab Pack 19, I use it on pretty much every guitar patch.

Bass is an Ibanez sr506, guitar is an Ibanez RG8 with Dimarzio D-activator pickups.



How does the mix sound?
 
Well that sounds djenty and epic dude! Love it! I think the drums are just fine. Maybe use a master compressor that's an SSL and a fast attack and release. That should add punch and take care of other things as well.

Those guitars sound just like Misha though! Preset? Which IR?

I tried messing with a couple things, not sure if it sounds better or not though. Bit more punchy maybe but going on the side of pumpy a bit much maybe.



I uploaded the tone, I use a patch with two amps, one hard panned right and the other left. Makes double tracking a bit easier, just record it twice and pan the tracks in Logic left and right and good to go. Cab 1 is using the ML Bulb Angle Attack, Cab 2 is using the ML Citrus 4x12 SM57-MD421 02
