Headstock decal question

Has anyone done a logo on the headstock? I need advice on this.

I have a partscaster with no logo on headstock yet. What is the best way to attach a logo? I googled and looks like people are using Waterslide paper. My question is do you need to do anything to it after you apply this waterslide paper? Like laquer it or something like that?

Some other tips/ methods?

I used water slide and then lacquered over it.

Same here. I printed the logo on my inkjet on water slide decal paper then hit it with a couple of coats of lacquer. If you don't use lacquer the ink will dissolve in the water.

I didn't laquer mine, I had my friend do it. It is a Might Mite neck and doesn't have the "Made in the USA" decal, but from a distance you can't tell.
