Headphones?

I got some monitoring headphones, hooked them up, nothing. I figured they’d override output 1 and the only sound would come out of the headphones, but I just heard my monitors as always. Is there something I need to change in the settings somewhere? I can’t find anything in the manual aside from a description of the headphone jack that says “use to monitor output 1”. Thanks for any help

Headphones do not override output 1, they just allow you to monitor it. They rely on the same output control though. Connect the monitors to OUT 2 if you want to control them separately, or use something to switch the OUT 1 off before the speakers, turn off the speakers, etc.

Turned off the speakers, worked great. Figured it would be something obvious

Just remember to turn down output 1 before you turn your monitors on again. Could hurt!

Always turn the speakers on last. Even turning down the output before powering on a unit can still send a spike to the speakers, so they have to be last.
