Hands-free edit?

Hi!

I just joined the ever growing wait list.

I’m wondering if there is or will be anything like Line6’s “hands free edit.” Too put it plainly, I’m on several drugs that make me dizzy, so crouching over the pedalboard isn‘t a great option.

How do others deal with it in a real-time situation? I realize I can set up presets on my computer but thats not helpful when you’re playing with people and need to tweak something on the fly.

How do others deal with it in a real-time situation?

The unit has MIDI control capabilities. You could run a MIDI control with knobs and faders on it, closer to you, to control parameters in real time when you play live.

Non-live, the software edtior FM9-Edit works great:



But is not recommend to be run when you're using the unit live because it does slow down some functionality as it polls the device for state information.

I don’t think it has been updated for the FM9, but it doesn’t seem to affect the FM3 in my experience.
