No, it's easy.

Hold down the Scene button for a second to enter Bank selection mode. Use the BANK UP/BANK DN switches to change banks (Bank A, Bank B, Bank C, etc...). Choose one of the 8 buttons to choose a preset within the bank.

Once you choose a preset, you are in Scene 1 of that preset. You then have 8 scenes in that preset and you already know how to use scenes.
