Guthrie Govan East City Central Lights Full Video!

great, as usual for govan these days. one of the all time great rock/fusion guitarists imho. wouldn't go so far as to say "THE best guitar player in the world" like it's trendy to say on forums, but definitely amongst the top 3 or 4 players for this style imho.
 
Guthrie has been very well known here in the UK for years, one of those guys who is a natural guitarist since birth :) and has always been an inspiration to many a guitarist.
 
The Govan'er...

Guthrie Govan is a killer musician, and as much as it might seem that he shows off at times, he's always very musical!

FWIW, he's an excellent teacher too! Anyone looking for some cool/entertaining/funny to read and yet very informative instructional guitar-material, I highly recommend Guthrie's Creative Guitar 1 & 2 books! (They come with audio-CD's of exercise/concept-demonstrations and some very cool backing/jam-tracks to work on improvisation. Guthrie was also kind enough to include "the obligatory 1-minute "humiliation" solo-example" over each backing-track just to remind you of who wrote the book versus who's reading the book - LOL!)
