Guitar Tone Help

Hello!

Can anybody give some suggestions on how to achieve the guitar tone in the first few seconds of this song? I'll be running mono so I won't be doing the panning. I tried a flanger and a formant last night and got close, but I'm not happy with it yet.

if your in mono you can use a simple mono delay mixed very wet.
all the rest is in your tone and your gonna have to experiment cuz there's probably a million ways to get that tone effect..

I have never used reverse delay. This might be just the application for it! I'll give it a shot this afternoon.
