If I repeatedly said the words " Wub Wub Wub Wub Wub" it would sound infinitely more like dub step than that video.

It wasn't bad, but it wasn't remotely dubby or steppy.

Nomatter dubstep or not you have an excellent technique damping strings with your left-hand. Thumbs-up.

Guitar meats dubstep. Go through his other videos as well, it's worth it. He's not using Axefx, but some NI plugin or something.
