Being a lowly AX8 owner and user I am sitting on Santa's naughty step. The little boy who will get nothing for Christmas tone-wise. Fractal's lovely gifts do not extend down to us.
The Gift Of Tone series does look wonderful but for now, I'm going to strap on my Les Paul, dial up a Blues Jr and wail out some bloooze. The Legacy products might be last year's disposed-of unloved gifts, but the Grinch and I are happy enough sitting at the top of the mountain looking down on the FM and AXE users with their dual amps and tone matching along with all the clever stuff that we might be lacking, but we don't need it.

So Legacy users, may I be the first to wish you a Merry Christmas. This is about the best that you will get here! :D

If you haven't done a deep dive yet in the Axe-Change or the Preset Forum there are lots of Gift of Tones already there from @2112 @Burgs and many more. Yes, the AX8 is a legacy product but many of the free presets still sound great.

If you want to buy yourself a Christmas gift get some of the AX8 presets that @austinbuddy @Moke @fremen offer on their websites.

Mary Christmas to all AX8 aficionados out there. While being in the middle of porting my AX8 presets to the FM9 and repeatedly getting stuck noodling a single preset for days I still take the trusty old AX8 out to rehearsals and gigs. Such a great and reliable tool and since there are no more fw updates exchanging and maintaining presets has become a breeze.
