It doesn’t necessarily have to be the “same” preset but something that sounds like their presets would be neatFrom the point of view of the average user, it is understandable to ask this question, but realistically I doubt anything like this will happen. Especially given that the AX8 is a legacy product. It doesn't make sense for a lot of reasons. Not even the "marketing" ones.
This could be a bit time consuming, and not completely possible in some cases (CPU%, missing models, not enough effect instances, and/or grid space). But I may take a crack at it if time permits. it may involve some Tone Matching with the Axe-Fx II to make up the differences in the amp modeling?
If I am not mistaken, Fractool does not support "fasBundle" files. So even if you wanted to convert files this way, it won't work. You could go through the presets and view settings and create approximations using Fractool - https://forum.fractalaudio.com/threads/fractool-ultimate-multitool-for-fas-devices.112538/
But I don't know if it'd be worth it
I wasn't saying it would convert - I was saying you could look at block settingsIf I am not mistaken, Fractool does not support "fasBundle" files. So even if you wanted to convert files this way, it won't work.
It doesn't matter. fasBundle file cannot be opened, viewed or edited using Fractool. I have verified it.I wasn't saying it would convert - I was saying you could look at block settings
