Hi!
Has anyone tried this MIDI pedal with our little one?, the Gecko MKIII
I would like to know how it works to use it to switch, for example, from scenes to effects.

That Gecko pedal appears to be a standard MIDI controller capable of sending PC and CC messages. You'd definitely be able to use it to send commands to the FM9 (or any FAS device) to switch scenes / effects, or to do anything else that can be controlled via MIDI. I just ordered this controller for my FM3 board: https://www.disasterareadesigns.com/shop/p/dmc-micro-pro
The reasons that I went with the Disaster Area pedal are (1) I have had good experiences with their gear in general, and (2) they have a decent GUI interface (web based) for programming the pedal. On my FM3 board, I'll use that little MIDI pedal to advance through scenes, and will attach an external dual footswitch to that little MIDI pedal and use it to page through banks of presets.

Actually, looking at the manual here, I don't see any reference to CCs at all:

From the product description it's for program changes and tap tempo, and that mentions the CC for tap only.

Without CCs, you won't be able to do channel changes. You could do scene changes in combination with PC Mapping on the Fractal...

If you want a small midi controller, the MorningStar MC-3 would probably be a much better choice...

Holy cow. You're right. I just assumed that it would send CCs. Definitely agree about the MorningStar option as being a good choice as well.

Oh, you are both right. That pedal is not going to work for me. And the morningstar is out of my budget.
I have to look for other options.
Thank you!
