I've been blocked from accessing the forum, and I've been getting expired/invalid certificate errors on my 2013 Mac Air running an old OS and Chrome. Evidently the OS / Chrome expecting DST Root CA X3 but this expired five days ago on Sept 30.

After some online research it looked like I needed a new root certificate (//letsencrypt.org/certificates/). I dropped it (ISRG Root X1) into the System certificates and followed instructions below and it worked!

How about you update that OS? You could be running 10 or maybe 11 depending on if it's a Mid-2013 or later MacBook Air.

Yeah well... I tried a few times updated to Catalina and it just sat there, IIRC not even getting to a progress bar. Also I'm running Bootcamp and there are some reports of losing access to that partition. So... delay, put off, avoid, rationalize...

I'll probably try it again after researching a bit more.
