FX8 Phantom Power Midi

Good morning. Quick question, my Diezel and Engl heads provide phantom power over the midi in. Is the FX8 able to manage this low inbound current or is a different midi cable required to remove voltage whil still proving full midi communication?

Both devices can be operated with a standard MIDI cable, because the MIDI signal goes by other veins than the phantom.

Thanks, I have been having a freeze up issue that cannot be fixed or diagnosed, I was curious if the voltage was causing the issue. I'll write another topic asking about the issue. I appreciate it.
