Fx8 hum, my simple solution (feeling silly)

For the first two days I had my Fx8 sitting on a 1x12 to dial it easier. Really bad hum. Wasn't digging it at all.

At one point, I was even picking-up the radio which I haven't had happen with my gear In years.

Moved the fx8 to the floor and reduced the hum by 50-75%. How? No idea. Why? Same thing.

However, easiest solution is usually the culprit. Occums Razor? (On the iPad, too lazy to spell check it, lol)

Probably the magnet in the 1x12 was interfering with the electric circuit in the FX8...

If you were picking up a radio, that is very likely your guitar. And ya, the magnet in your amp for sure is the cause of that. Magnets and electricity interact.
