Has anyone tried the 4CM method with a Matchless C-30 loop? I need to get a Y cable for the 1 jack loop on the Matchless. I've tried it in the past with other switchers (Midi Pro 8 by thegigrig and TC G System) and the Matchless and it did not work. I suspect it will be the same with the FX8 - great amp the Matchless but useless loop.
Also, can the FX8 work like a thegigrig or RJM switchers whereby certain footswitches are used as a platform and other switches add to the platform For ex. switch 1 is a Clean Boost and by hitting switches 5, 6 and 7, I add modulation effects - when I hit back to switch 1, only the clean boost is left (or do I need to remove each effect individually)?
If I have 3 effects on at one time, is there a way to hit one switch in order to go back to the dry sound of my amp?
