FW18 as of now is a beta release. That is what the "b" represents. The latest public version is is beta 7.

note: And to avoid any confusion on your part, after installation it will appear on the UTILITY/FIRMWARE tab as "Version: 18.00beta"

You're one of the lucky ones if you have Fw18 ...... we are still waiting for it .....


All Fw18 is b for BETA at the moment .....

Hmmm.... my previous download / install looks to be the original FW18b? I just grabbed version 7. Wondering if I'm pushing it by upgrading again before a big gig... Is the rotary block turned off in this version???
