FW 9.1 + MCF + Axe Edit

Hello,
I got the clear message to stay away from axe edit if you wanna use the new firmware.
This means that I have to choose something like Midi Ox for installing the firmware too, isn't?
I have a Mac Book Pro with Lion, Axe II with 8.0 and MCF pedal.

You answered your own question, but yes, midi ox for mac will/should work fine.

Axe-Edit is fine for installing the firmware. Just don't edit presets with it.

I agree-I have been using for FW only-works fine. That's with my new laptop. Cannot even get it to launch on my desktop. I gave up on that after too many wasted hours\days. Hopefully January will cure that
