I am planning on buying an Ultra soon for strictly bass use. However, the bass sound will never only sound like a bass. This is for a bass and drums duo and the bass needs to sound full range. I am hoping I can coax these sort of sounds from the Axe Fx.
I am looking for a full range powered speaker that can handle at least 50 Hz and all the way up to 20 kHz. I have been thinking about either a Bag End PD10BX-D http://www.bassplayer.com/article/102267 or FBT Verve 15ma
The only thing that worries me about the Bag End is how well of a full range speaker it really is? I am sure it has great low end, but I am not sure how flat the response is on the upper end.
