Friends, please help. We really need the Satriani preset composition ten words.

why did so many people decide to make fun of me? after all, i asked you to help me choose this tone. i'm a newbie. too bad
I think people were just a little surprised by the way your post was worded—it sounded funny because of the translation. But don't worry! Everyone here has good intentions and is happy to help, especially if you're new.

Give these a shot. I haven't used them in quite awhile, but they were the first JS410 presets I made that I was happy with. I still have a couple of presets that uses the JS410 but they're fine tuned for me. The pic is the cabs I used on all 3. A lot of the scenes in these 3 were just trying things out to see what would happen. It was shortly after I discovered the DUAL DRIVE thing that changed my world. I do think that quite a few scenes are a bit too "gainy" but I guess that would depend on your pickup and whatnot.

I should also state that I'm very bad, or boring depending on your POV, in regards to effects. The delays are probably all the same and same with the phase and chorus. I did have one of these with the rotary so I could play Trundrumbalind at one point, but I can't be bothered to find it, haha. I can cover pretty much the entirety of Crystal Planet within these and quite a bit of songs in his catalog, though they'd be missing that "thing" that his late 80's output had.

There’s one thing standing out in that live clip; new strings. You can hear that attack/pop at the beginning of the notes when he picks a little harder that’s the same thing that fades from strings once they’ve been played a bit.

I can’t tell if he’s splitting the coils or not, but he’s got the volume knob rolled way back with a fairly distorted tone. As long as the pickups aren’t crazy high output, the new strings/volume knob rolled back/distorted modern Marshall will definitely get you in the ballpark pretty fast.

He used a modified Boss DS-1 in front a mostly clean amp for a lot of his distorted tones. that pedal is weird (to me), and a lot of ppl hate it. Satriani's tones somehow sound amazing though because of who he is, but it sounds almost like a fuzz (to me) at certain settings. You could experiment with the settings on that in front one of the Plexi amps quite clean. Start with the Tone turned down to around 3-4 (scale 1-10), Level at 5, Distortion at 3-4, and just use your ears from there as you dial up the distortion until it sounds right when you dig in.
I know nothing about what he did on that track, but if what I've suggested above just sounds totally out it might just be because for that particular track he didn't use the DS-1 at all, and just turned up the gain on his Marshall, but listening to it, it definitely sounds like there is something in front of the amp, so I'm guessing DS-1 turned down from his "normal" settings.

To build upon what WhiteRoom was saying, I made the above presets after reading a reddit discussion thread and a linked article where Satch talks about doing that exact thing. In the original thread, someone posted a pic where he had a DS1 with the distortion and level cranked and the tone at 9-o'clock. I think it said he was plugged into 2 JVM210-combos. It was when he was showcasing his artwork and playing a few tunes. Really small setup.

In that first and second presets I posted, the last 4 scenes on each one are based on what Joe does. He said that he liked to do it with the Marshall 6100, which is what the Green channel is on the JS410. I tried it with the red and green channels and got some really nice results, though it made having the gain on both at zero lol I've since tweaked the idea quite a bit and with a lot of different combinations of drives and amps and whatnot, but the core idea is really cool. I had a DS1 (and quite a few others over the years) back in the 90s but was never able to figure out what to do with it. Wish I knew then... blah blah blah because done right, it's really quite something.

Any chance of you posting preset(s) based on these ideas?
Sounds like cool stuff.

Going to try these this evening. Always nice when someone else does all the hard work for you

Speaking of which... After playing through those three again, and then with the one I posted yesterday that was supposed to be THE JS410 preset for me... I realized that I prefer the Orange and Red channels to the Green now... Until I change it again.

I might just have to put together a preset with the "Scene Ignore" function. Just have the scenes be my favorite drive combos and then cycle through the three channels.

Where is the best place to start when adjusting the preset to your equipment?
For example, if I hear too much gain, I naturally lower the gain on the amp block but it loses the “oomph” of the tone. Is there a better method? Any tips is greatly appreciated.

I have 2 drives on all of my main lead-focused presets and use both 75% of the time. One is 4 Bogners another is 4 Carol-Anns, and of course the JS410. I use the first as a clean boost and the 2nd for color (I think...) but even with all of that gain, it's not nearly as distorted as one might think. For instance, on one of the Uberschall scenes, I have an SD1 into a Griddle (or Klon or Suhr(R) or OCD) and the gains/drives are set to 1, 2 and 3, respectively. That's probably the most distorted I get, and it's probably a bit more than I need, but the rest of that preset has varying levels of distortion, and I wanted one step higher just in case. That said, in my Eric Johnson Plexi preset, I got that fucker cranked to 10 with the drives between 1 and 3'ish.

Those are 2 very different amp types, but I say all that to explain where I adjust if the need arises... In the Uberschall, I'd adjust the amp and with the EJ Plexi, I adjust the 2nd drive. That's usually enough to take care of it. However, my (non-shared, it's newish) JS410 preset has the Orange channel at 1 and the Red at .25. There's nowhere else to go, so I'd adjust the 2nd drive.

I do have alternate version of the Bogners and the JS410 with just a single drive running (still use both drive blocks, 1 for each scene) because part of me thinks that too much of the tone is coming from the drives and I worry that I'm not getting enough of the amp's character. My ears are only equipped to hear what sounds good and for the life of me, I can't decide on "THIS" or "THAT" being better than "THAT" or "THIS". There's damn near 40 different lead scenes mentioned in this specific post and I couldn't say which is best. I just know that each one sounds freaking awesome. If I was stuck with any one of them forever... I can live with that.

Thank you friends for your constructive answers. I understand you.

It is very difficult for me to achieve this tone myself. I have owned fractal for less than a month, so help. Maybe someone here has made this preset before and could share it with me.

Great stuff.. I've been on a bit of a satriani kick myself recently so I'm familiar with this tone. To me, this tone doesn't sound like the JS amps in the Fractal, it sounds more like a couple of other marshall amps we have like the silver jubilee or the super lead. It's basically a bit darker and a bit more squashy, I didn't notice I the video but is he still on the bridge pick up or has he moved to the neck to get that squashy tone?

He's obviously using some effect too. I have no idea on that front. He does use some unusual pedals sometimes

Try an SD1 into a DS1 into a JS410 Green. 2-humbucker guitar with the pickup switch in the middle, volume down a bit.
