FracTool - for power users only

10-4. Thanks

I have been using Axe-Edit and Axe Live simultaneously so I can see what's going on on each of my Axe II's. When I want to do real editing, I usually pull up the Axe unit I want to edit, in Axe Edit to make changes, then I go back to the above scheme to go through programming and tweaking.

I would love to have 2 Axe Edits open. I tried to use a terminal command line I saw online for allowing multiple instances of a program on a mac, but it didn't work.......I am sad....

Can someone please provide the link to download latest version of FracTool? Running version 9.01 on my MK II. Thank you.

Hi Al,
what does Fractool with global blocks when you move them from a II to an XL+?
They just move over?
Afaik a bank file contains only the information about the linkage for the global blocks, the values are not stored within, they get stored in the system area.
What can I do?
Will I have to unlink globals in every preset on the II, so the values get moved from the system store to the presets store and then save all presets, then import them on the XL+, then relink them to globals? Is that the easiest way to go?

Hi
global blocks are just links inside the preset to another area defining the block. This area is in the system bank yes.
So when converting a preset it should keep the link, only the link. So depending on the data stored at that global block position it may mink to different data when moving from one machine to another one...unless you can dump the system bank and reload it on the new machine...

Installed fine but does not launch (quits with error).

Works on my OSX Sierra... I wouldn't want to install High Sierra and get my mac slower etc, as usual with Apple...

Is there details in the dialog window you have ?
