Agreed. This forum is 100% better than any proprietary service.

The only other thing that might be interesting is IRC/Matrix server, but the FAS forum is still the way to go.

For shooting the shit with fellow fractal users? Chat away. Just realize that words there are like tears in the rain.
For real learning with a complex product like this, forums/wiki are a much better resource than ephemeral chatting. Also, these forums are very well maintained/moderated - like everything this company does: top shelf.
