Four cable method revisited

Hello,
I have an Digitech IPB-10 processor (based off of the RP1000). When using the four cable method you can not only run effects before the pre-amp and also post, you can switch the real amps preamp out and use a virtual amp from the IPB-10.
Is there a way to do this with the AXE-FX II?

I have mine set with a loop sending to the real amp and sim and cross fade with exp pedal and mixer block with one of the level modifiers reversed. so if I use clean and dirty I can shade between them.
